Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW FREE Sydney photo shoot - R Series only - Limited places

    Hey all,

    I'm about to complete my Diploma of Photography & have chosen automotive photography as my major assignment / portfolio assessment. I'm currently looking for people with QUALITY cars who are willing to donate their time to shoot in exchange for free, quality, hi res shots of their cars. Therefore, I'd like to offer a free shoot night for a small number of Sydney based VWW members with R Series cars...

    * 1 night only
    * Maximum 6 cars/members (VW R Series only. Depending on interest, I may also consider other makes. Let me know what you have, preferably with a pic)
    * You'll be supplied up to 6 hi res shots of your car for FREE!
    * Each cars shoot will take approx. 1/2hr
    * Location TBC. I'm in the Inner West, but am happy to travel (within reason) if anyone has access to an interesting location.
    * Date: To be arranged with participating members.

    If you're keen, post here or PM.

    I don't get much opportunity to shoot my own car, but see a couple of my R36 below...

                  Agree, however this was the simplest way for me to ensure a certain level of cars.

                    I think your portfolio would look a lot more impressive with some stunning Vdubs from every level. My opinion. Love to see the shots. the ones you have posted are great.

                      I agree with all the comments, however the portfolio is not exclusively VW. I may only choose to include 1 shot from this shoot.

                      Anyway, back on topic, it loks like the shoot is going to be this Sunday. See details below...

                      Date: Sunday 22 April.
                      Time: 6.30pm
                      Location: TBC (inner west area)

                      Still looking for a couple of R's to complete the 6. If there's no more takers from this forum I may have to begin accosting R owners on the street! =)

                      It would be appreciated if anyone is a member of another forum if they could link to this thread, or if you know anyone with a suitable car (VW or Audi) that may be interested, please let them know.

                        Would you consider another Black MK4 R32 like Mattys? If so, I would be down.

                        Btw: Saw Mattys R32 @ Exoticars a few days back, looks super mint.

                              This is what is wrong with this forum.

                              Someone offers a free service and you get people bitching and moaning.
