Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • QLD Cruise to VW Nats

Just putting it out there if any QLDers planning on heading to Nats this year are wanting to cruise down.

So far me and Glynn are trying to work something out. Possibly leave the Friday sometime and drive straight to sydney. That way we can go check out the sprints on the saturday maybe.

Pretty much after numbers etc and where people are planning on staying.

i will update specifics when there is a definite plan.

If my cars running nicely I'd be keen to come along, thats a very big if though, need a new clutch and rear brakes atleast first, which is hard to afford with no reliable income.

Damn, that we are not going this year, next year again for sure
The last two years, we have stayed at the Mercure Parramatta

They charge $148 per night for a double, can get extra people in the room for a little more, rooms are great, free undercover secure parking, 15 minutes from Fairfield Showground, there is a car wash across the road as well as shops & eats.
We would highly recommend it, I'm sure the guys that stayed there with us would recommend it too

For anyone that does decide to stay at the Mercure Parramatta, I received this email voucher you can use
