Hey guys, thanks for making the effort!!

We had 65 cars at last count and everyone loved the Watercooleds!! Both the 2 early Passats and the two Polos parked together looked great! And more than one person came up to me raving about the Modded Polo

There was alot of back n forth with several people when we did the O but in the end it was decided that we should be different.
even copyrights/trade marks came up, so there's the story.

hey mate, thanks heaps for organising the cruise - very nice drive up to that part of the world. and thanks for taking a pic of my car! from get togethers to cruises to shows/ events, you name it - no one ever posts pics of my car because i guess you cant see any of my mods, which is fair enough, but this is a rare occurrence! cheers!

I was trying to work out why the view count was quite high on the watercooled cars... then I worked out Rhett the photo thief was at work hehehe

Glad you liked the photos Scott... I get in the **** from my other half normally for taking too many photos at car shows. I try to take one of most cars at a show (when its manageable) for the exact reason you have said, lots of cars get overlooked and it give the owners a bit of a buzz when they see a shot of their car. And this photographer gets a bit of a buzz when someone likes his shots, so it all works out well!

It was fun cruising up with you guys - I was in the yellow type 3 squareback - hopefully we can do a few more events where every one gets together regardless of the cooling factor

ps. rhett... which forum is to blame for the 500+ views of the country buggy?! i think that is my highest view count ever!

hey mate, yeah that type 3 was sweet! i'd love one, but i need a garage and project space first... one day.....

yeah, thanks for the pics again - definitely put a smile on my face. and the cruise was good - i must admit that it really helps to "big up" an event if a whole bunch of people cruise to the event together, beforehand.

keep us posted on other events - i'm always keen for a gander. especially if the cruises offer that kind of scenery again, i'll be there every time!
