Here is part 1 of the happy laps filmed from my car. Some rare moments of me actually overtaking people are between 10:20 and 11:00.

And yes the music in the background is Gran Turismo music

Awesome video Rhys.
It's great to see your ability develop out there (lines are getting better, good speed and a few overtakes - especially the blue r32)

Was the rattling (around the two left hand turns) due to something loose in the car i.e. coins in the centre consol or something?

I'm not entirely sure what the rattling was, I couldn't hear it when I was driving. I thought it might have been the air/wind from the air-vents hitting the sticky-tape holding the camera in place. Ashame about the rattling but oh well.

One of my garage/gate opening remotes flew out of the compartment in the drivers footwell which gave me a bit of a fright at first but I slowed down on the front straight to chuck it to the passenger side.

Some of my friends still don't believe how well your tig goes around the track. haha.

It was a pretty good sleeper until i did the muffler delete.

I learnt very quickly to remove anything from the cabin that was not locked down after having plastic bags flapping around at lakeside.

I really need to work on a windscreen or dash mount and clean up the lense a bit.

Thanks for organizing this mate. Good to meet a few new people also. Had a blast out there until 4th gear stopped working . I can see dollar signs already.

Alrighty then, here is part 3. The 306GTi that nearly spun out can be see from 5:25 - 5:50. He sure did a great save after hitting the dirt though.

Really? I thought I looked slow haha. Certainly is regular speed, no editting done. These uploads certainly take A LONG TIME TO DO! About 1.5-2.5 hrs for each part Can't remember if it's in this video or Part 3 but the R32 that I overtook in Part 1 overtakes me back. Should have seen it coming really, 1.6 i4 vs. 3.2 V6. hmm wonder who will win lol. I must admit Part 2 is a little boring as I slowed the pace back a little bit to rest the car.

Couple of brief cameo appearances in there for me, most notably in Rhys's Part 1 @ about 7min mark, chasing down that C63. I love my GTI, but I gotta be honest, I'd give it away in a heartbeat for a C63. The sound of that V8 would put a horn on a jellyfish.

I must agree hearing that C63 go past on some of Dad's sideline videos, it does sound EPIC! It even has that blurt like in the DSG VW's except with a meaty V8 blurt.

But then again, I think that microphone is slightly busted because my car sounds like a jet about to take-off because all you hear is a huge whine from the transmission haha.
