Bloody rain... Have to say I'm not real thrilled about this weather considering I've never been on a circuit before.

Weather update 14:00; Seems to have stopped raining in East Brisbane. So it should have stopped raining by now at Lakeside as it's on the northside. Fingers crossed it doesn't rain again!

I am 10 ks north of Lakeside and it is pi$$ing down

I tried it with and without traction control. With, the light blinked on just about every decent corner and it could be felt interfering. I guess that's probably a fair indication that the car is being driven at it's limits. Once you get a bit more practice under your belt with the TC "on", then try it "Off" - but take it easy. Personally I felt quicker with it "off" but in the knowledge that I had to drive the car knowing that it's all up to me.

If it remains on, just take it easy. Great chance to test the AWD system! The laps usually get faster as the session goes on and people learn the circuit.

Clay, Im 10 mins from the track and it hasnt stopped bucketing down since Friday evening, bucketing down now .... and the radar doesnt look promising either for it to stop... the last few days of these have been close, we got lucky for those....

i see everyone is not worrying about those in awd cars .lol i would be.....awd system or not my four-motion will still drift in rain. i was just in newmarket just before doing like 60 turned a corner and drifted a mile.lol it was fun and I kept it under control but its risky as f*ck. unkeen to track car 2moz if rains on. but will stil show if I dont hear its off.

I'm interested to see how all cars go in the rain. Race day rarely stops just for the wet - unless tinnies have drifted onto the track.....

Haha, I suppose its good and bad that it probably won't stop for the rain.

I'm just not looking forward to seeing how my car goes around with the crappy stock tyres :/

it is an opportunity to know your car limits in bad weather... but keeping distance front and back is critical to do so :p
