echuca - moama is on the vic/nsw border. Would be a big hike down from sydney though. You would have to stay overnight.

How far is that place from melbourne city? if I go, I might as well go all the way to melb for a weekend with gf for a weekend.

it would take about 2 1/2 to 3 hours from melb city... depending on route n traffic.. but it is over NSW border though
