    VW day in NZ

    Some pix from our 'spring jamboree' over here numbers not as good as past years, the weather has been pretty bad here in the last 24hours.

    Rado 16v (was expecting 3 Rado's but they coudn't make it) & mk2 GTI VR6 Turbo Syncro! a beast! very very fast!

    2L 8v GTI running K-Jet

        16v GTI, VR6 soon to get a blower, 16v GTI

        3dr on the left has 2L 8v running digifant, right one is 1.8L 8v

        Interesting bumper kit (never seen this one)

                Yeah ... my experince in NZ tells me that they get a far broader range (all brands) than Aus. Of course ... they don't have a homemade (Holden/Ford) manufacturer to protect and they can bring in second-hand ex-Japan cheapies (not allowed here without VERY stringent ADRs to meet) ... so yeah ... heard NZ actually had the broadest range of vehicle availability in the world.

                      Lots of mods to this car, sorry mate i don't have the full list of stuff it has.
                      Might be NZ's most modded golf think it might be about 250-280 bhp just not sure, he's done heaps of stuff to it!
