Hello boys and girls,
I am organising a trip down the best road in victoria (IMO).
on the picture I will attempt to upload is the proposed route I will be doing, the following explains the points to stop at.
A. (which is hiding behind G) is the bunnings car park situated and the very end of the Geelong bypass, I will be aiming to get there around 9 for a 9.30am leave time.
B. This is Aireys Inlet / Lighthouse
C. Erskine falls car park, about 5-10 minute drive from Main street Lorne.
D. Apollo Bay, As a safe guard I would be stopping for fuel here as there is no more petrol stations that have decent fuel for my lawn mower until stop F we could also have some lunch etc
E. Port Campbell Main street, on the way to here we pass the 12 apposils and some other great places that would be perfect for set up photo shoots etc.
F. After having a break in port campbell head back the way we came through some very nice roads through Lavers Hill and then north to Colac and back to the start location in Geelong!!
G. Back in Geelong
I am going to be going either way and already have another couple of cars coming (cooper s, Evo
, I am also going to be letting the XR5TURBOFORUM know about it as i also have XR5 TURBO and am a member there also, so invite whoever I dont care what badge your car has it will be great to have a large turnout.
