I *should* be alright for the. It's far enough out that i should be able to request the day, or part of it, off work.
Any idea what time it would be, morning / arvo?
Well there's two schools of thought 1) People don't like to get up early on Sunday but 2) It's not as hot generally, so slightly denser air to play with - Personally, I wouldnt mind afternoon
As Feb will be the last month my weekends are busy with work I can make the arvo but from March I look forward to organising a few events as was the norm in years gone...

Alrighty so Steve (veedubnutz) asked if I could put together a preliminary route.
How's this sound.
Start: Taylor Blend Hallett Road Burnside (for coffee / brunch)
Via: Ashton, Lobethal, Balhannah, Mt Lofty, Cherry Gardens, Mylor, Maccasfield, Clarendon, Flagstaff Hill
Ending: Seacliff Beach Hotel (lunch stop)
Approx Distance: 150km (if too long, i suggest removing Mylor, Maccasfield leg and instead going straight from Cherry Gardens to Clarendon)
Driving Time: ~2.5-3 Hours
From what i've read more people seem to be interested in the Lunch meet rather than the actual cruise itself. So anyone just wanting to meet up at the end would be welcome to. Thus Plans for the day would be:
Morning Coffee / Bite to eat @ Taylor Blend (cruise start point) Meet @ 9am Leave at 10am
Stop points along the route to allow the group to stay together.
End point for Lunch Seacliff Beach Hotel, 12.30pm-1pm.
Route sounds like fun, but I'd struggle to devote quite that much time personally. If we could make it an 11am start and lunch meet at 12:30-1, that would be better I'd say. Your shorter suggested route does sound good - reckon we'd get through it in 1.5-2 hours, inc. a stop or two for photos?
