Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • QLD Christmas Party Time 2011

I think a Christmas party is in order again after the success of the last one we had. Indooroopilly Bowls Club will be the place of choice as we can arrange a small package involving bowls, nibbles and a few drinks.

Now the question is; When would people prefer to have it?

Saturday, 3rd of December is good if you want to have bowls, a few drinks then continue the party at a nearby venue (RE) and maybe onto the city without worrying about work the next morning.

Sunday, 4th of December is good if you want to have barefoot bowls, nibbles and a soft drink () and have the car there to maybe continue onto Sizzling Mongolian or another local restaurant like we did last time.

Please have all votes and attendance in by Friday, 24th of November so we can get down and organise this shindig

It'd be great to see the regulars there along with some new faces join in on the festivities, here's come encouragement for you

Either way suits me (if I'm not in NZ),

I'd probably vote Sunday followed by the Mongolian, just so there's a better turn out of cars, but getting on the sauce with a few dubnuts might also be fun, so win win. Ah the RE... like a school reunion every time.

Good work for organising/pushing it again Mr Maca, was good fun in '09 (scary that my car was off the road then too). That picture of you is stunning too by the way don't let those mean people tell you otherwise.

The silver VR6 stole the show at the 2009 meet, so it's a must have.
