I know its early, but I want to start organising this now.
It truly is a great event that we've held every year for over half a decade to celebrate the coming of summer and the last big event of the VWW year in VIC.
This year will be a bit different to the previous couple of years. We will revert back to the original plans and have the BBQ first and foremost with a cruise afterwards if people so desire. This is due to increased Police presence and harassment in previous years, due in part by our increasing number of participants (nearly 30 last year!)
When: Sunday 4th of December
Meeting Point:Chirnside Park bunnings on Maroondah Hwy, 10am meet up, aim to depart by 10:30am. At this point we will cruise down Maroondah Hwy to the dam. Maybe stop in Healesville to grab some supplies if people dont have them already.
What to Bring: Yourself, food, drinks, deck chairs, sunscreen (if it doesnt rain!), rain coat and I'll bring cooking utensils.
Cruise: During the BBQ, interested parties can discuss routes and destinations for a drive through some nicer pieces of road. The cruise to the event will be as straight and simple as possible in order not to loose people.
Just want to register some interest for a fun and entertaining annual event.
Everyone welcome! This is a great event to put faces to names and enjoy a few laughs. Hope to see you there!
