Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

      Apart from the ridiculous number of bugs across the front of my car, that was a good time to go IMO. Little traffic on the road, through the hills before the cops set up the speed camera and got back home with half a day spare.

      Great shots all round.

      Anothony, Natalie's a good sport mingling with everyone. My gf would vomit everywhere after a few corners, so now she doesn't even get the token invite.

                I did see that and was wondering how much longer it'd be moving for.

                I was quite surprised by the different colour reds of the golf and polo (and bora). Polo is a lot more orange, golf more cherry red, both with a really nice shine.

                  You're absolutely right and I would've joined if I didn't have a big night before hand. I'll be at the next one for sure.

                  I think the main difference is that the Golf is metallic and the Polo is solid. I could be wrong though.

                    Both flat reds from memory Maca, just the Polo as my Dad called it is more dog**** red lol. It has an orange undertone to it.

                      Nah, not metallic on the Golf, I thought they were fairly similar but never parked them side by side to compare. Some of the photo's look a bit saturated (sorry Nat) as I'm sure my car doesn't look that orange...
