Hi Everyone,

Just got a hold of this for you all. A full list of all the categories and winners from Action Day this year.

Thank you to all those who participated and for those who didn't compete but still came along to support the club. To anyone who didn't make it this year, we hope to see you at next year's event. This time, it's my show. Fingers crossed I can make it a good one!

Some interesting cars there on the day.

Yeah, there were some good ones. Quite a few new ones that I hadn't seen before, too, which is good to see. And to see a lot more newer cars there this year was fabulous as well. Fingers crossed we can keep growing the scene. And congrats on being the favourite, ha ha.

Just quietly, i think the fact the President of the vwdclub has a tig and enjoyed his test drive of mine may have caused some bias.

Perhaps. However, Basically it was "which car would I like to drive as my daily?" Was how he decided. Your car is pretty nice for a daily. Well, for some people. It doesn't seem to be used as one. It's terribly neglected. :-P

Good job on getting all that info together and posted - which Mk1 was it that won category 11, was it the orange one, or the clean GTI cabrio? A few nice Mk1s were around on the day. The blue one was intense!

It is a shame i don't get to drive it more often.
Although absence makes the heart grow fonder so it always makes me giddy as a school girl when i get to give it a fang.

I'm not sure which one it was, exactly. I didn't have time on the day to actually really look at any cars. I'm sure we can find the info for you somewhere if you'd really like to know.

I guess it's a good thing that you appreciate your car for what it is and what it can do. If you drove it every day it just wouldn't be the same!
