So a Congratulations to our VWW members winning trophies:
Madglf3 (Matt) for his MK4
VR6Pitcrew (Razza and Tony) for Best Display
And Team_V (Clay) for Presidents Choice
And Tony Mitchell for best MK5/6 Category (even though he slept through the show he still entered his car. There is dedication)
Congratulations to you, and thank you everyone who entered and attended. Was great to see some familiar faces and some I haven't seen in a while,
And kudo's to James for actually making it in the driveway with a bit of a "skid" to slide the car over the gutter lol.
Matt (the other one) had an awesome MK1
Lito's Sparkling Mk3 showing up my Mk3 I was too embarassed to open my bonnet compared to his shiny goodness.
Razza and Tony impressed all with their display of Lucy and Annie, immaculate and extremely well presented as always. Thank you Razz for trying to get as many watercooled entrants and getting more people interested in the watercooled side of VWDCQ and VWWatercooled.
And Tony after walking around with you taking photo's your knowledge and love for engines and all things VW astounds me and I'm more than happy to learn what you have to share.
Kara with the other 2.0L at the show, Maca with his Jettadore (Jettawhore), Don (now aptly named DAD) with his sexy silver Pirelli, Clay with the Big shiny blue Tig your machine looks amazing even though it is a golf on high suspension lol
Tony Mitchell for entering his car but going AWOL to sleep "it off".
Madglf3's Black Mk4 looked amazing and was a standout, he should be really proud, even with his cataract glasses on.
The one and only Johnny G60 lookin good as always, alot of people checking out your sweet ride, very tidy and no I don't need a steering wheel lol.
Well that's enough rambling from me. I hope to see you all again soon and to everyone else reading this thread you should be proud of what these wonderful group of people have put into their cars and what they are trying to do for their club/s. Makin A Stand For The VW Brand
On a side note: Understandably there have been a few changes to the Oxenford show because of postponement however would be great to see more of you enter or just attend to say hello and check out some awesome machines.
