the route shouldn't take too long to complete ... for the return I'll be heading back down the C724 to Healesville and then via Yarra Glen
Nice route, enjoyed joining you guys for the Reefton/Black Spur cruise just before winter and was planning to show tomorrow. However I presume you know that the road from Don Valley thru to Healesville though twisty is largely unsealed gravel road?

    • I'm confused...

Is the normal meeting place of Knox still happening for tomorrow? (i.e. is this other starting point just for few who happen to live down that way and intend to meet up with the rest of the gang?)

hey NV, I suggested the route above as a one-off alternative as it's a bit quicker for father's day bypassing Reefton/Marysville, and the roads are just as fun. The starting point also allows most folks to get out there quickly via the south-eastern without having to meander through Belgrave/Emerald/etc.

Thank you for organising and setting a fun route - especially the last section. Let us know what they find about the R's brakes at the service.

A mate of mine bought a XR5 Turbo and decided to give the Reefton a go yesterday...
So I tagged along in an R32 seeing though he got the idea from here...

Oh yeh and he brought along another 45 XR5s

This is a pic of us all congregating off one of the main-drag carparks at Healesville.

Don't think we've ever got to this number of dubs before...

Interesting dynamic to have so many on the road, but were well organised and everyone had radios too which helped, so it was successful all round. A tad damp on the roads but still very enjoyable.

Should be the 5th Oct. It's Sat and Sun on alternate months. Which means if I'm lucky I'll join in November, otherwise January (if people aren't on holidays)
