NSW The WTF car club cruise

Since its been awhile since i've gone on a decent cruise and also the fact that not many car nuts i come across have ever been down kangaroo valley, i thought it would be high time I get something cracking.

So the plan is to meet at a confirmed location, when i decide where it is, and then well head down my specially planned route to get the most out of the twisty roads from here to kangaroo valley. Trust me, it will blow you away.

So if anyone is keen, prep your misses/i mean car and get your motor-oil based male-fragrance on because it will be a good solid day of driving on some epic roads many of you may not of realised existed.

So the idea is an early start because it will most likely be 3hrs there and back, but that all depends on how fast we go. Id be looking to maybe stop off somewhere for lunch, maybe around Robertson but nothing is set in stone.

also if anyone knows of others who would be keen, don't hesitate to bring along, the more the merrier as they say.

Drove down to the gong today and saw signs about kangaroo valley bridge closed or something so might want to look into that

Yeah they are doing work on the main bridge through kangaroo valley, been through there a few times over the last 2 months and seems to be fine on the weekends

From 25 July 2011 until 19 August 2011 – continue redecking of bridge. Heavy timber work at RTA Bendeela Road depot and at Hampden Bridge. Standard work hours Monday and Friday. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday work hours from 7am until 1am.

From 22 August 2011 until 9 September 2011 – reconstruction of end trusses and replacement of mid span pin. Heavy timber work at RTA Bendeela Road depot and at Hampden Bridge. Standard work hours Monday and Friday. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday work hours from 7am until 1am.

so far Ive managed to rangle together a subaru 07 bspec, a holden eh, a ford laser, so hence the WTF cars.

I've also established that the meeting location is heathcote mcdonalds.

I want to see some 2 door mk2's especially so dont hesitate to get involved.

Meeting time is now between 8 - 9, so try to arrive between those times, we need as much time as we can get if we want to fit it all in.

Take note ive tried to take advantage of all the windy bits from here to there, so better be prepared

Finally a Saturday cruise and my Bora is still off the road. Not much chance of it being fixed by Saturday unfortunately.
