Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    VIC Aug 3rd 7pm Mid week hot hatch meet

    Hey Guys,
    Organising a mid week hot hatch meet up this week at Docklands, Thursday. If anyone is keen, empty car park somewhere to kick some tyres and have an ole yarn. Open to all FF Hot Hatches, spread the word ..


    Meet Point 1, and Primary Meet Point:


    Meet Point 2, in the event of severe torrential rain, relocate to under the Bolte Bridge where its dry

    * marked on the map above as 'the car fair' at the end of Dockland Drive.

    Meet Point 3, in the event of a gale and you get drenched with rain at meet point 2, Go Home ! hahaha

    Ive got a f*cked up ankle at the moment and cant walk, but if i can walk by wednesday, i dont see why not, its close for me anyway
    - Orange Golf mk1 LS, 1.8 5speed, 32/36 - sold
    - Golf mk1 Swallowtail rebuild, completely stripped
    - Brown U.S import 81 cabby
    - 88 Honda crx b18cr

            Cool. So what time would this go til? Need to make up my mind which meet i wanna go to. There's also a vwgolf.net meet on the same night. *sigh* I guess it depends of I'm feeling peckish or not at the time. LOL. Are we doing anything afterwards?

              Mate im unsure how much ppl will come with such short notice, ahaha our forum is a bit slow with meets compared to others. Why not just tag along to the vwgolf meet? Surely it will be bigger, and worth it too?

                Changed it to Thursday night instead. its open to the Renault, Opal etc etc.

                      Since this has been changed to thursday, it no longer clashes with the golfV meet. So, can i still come along even though mine isn't exactly a hatch?
                      Come on kaanage, I'll go if you go. This week's going to be interesting. A meet on wednesday, thursday and maybe friday?

                              Yep its on OzRenault, OZMPS, VWGolf, and rColt & redlineGTI. Dont have membership to OpalAus, Aussiefrogs and FordXR5turbo, could you post up an invite there.
