    was a nice day out!
    I was happy we got a mk1 GTI, MK2 GTI, MK3 VR6, Mk4 1.6L and a nice black MK5 GTI.

we cruised out to warburton for lunch then up mt donna buang. Nice twisty bit of road and not too much traffic out that way. Although we did encounter a couple of slow-coaches.

But yes certainly and enjoyable day.

The other guys took plenty of pics im sure they will post some soon.

      As Tim said.

Was an awesome day for me, even though it was 10.15am to 7.30pm for me. Back's absolutely rapped! Ahh Well.

Sorry for the quality of the pic's. Haven't loaded the software for mum's good camera yet. The other's have some good pic's.

Awesome scenery, drive, road's, company & day for it. Pitty there wasn't more but suprisingly got all the different mark's of golf's! Also no problem's either.

Alway's good to meet some new face's & good to catch up with the familiar one's too.

      Larry's beasty black Mk5 GTI,
      Matt's suprisingly freakish handling Mk4 1.6,
      Tim's cool lightly smoky MK3 VR6,
      Carl's skitish Mk2 16V
& my fuel gussling Mk1 GTI.

            Hey guys!
Awesome day today! Loved every minute of it. The drive was great and the weather even better. Alan, sorry we lost you so early on. Unfortunately we didnt even realise till we were in Warburton! To those that didnt come, you guys missed out big time!

I enjoyed organising this cruise and if you guys show interest, i would be willing to organise more events. Cruises, GTG's and other social stuff on a once a month basis. You guys dont seem to get out and do much stuff as a club and i wouldnt mind changing that!!

Once again, great company, great cars, awesome day!

Who's afraid of height's? Was only a few in feet in elevation.

I was knackered climbing the lookout!

I had to keep reminding him to leave it in gear.

Thanks Thunder, They're my original 'small bumper' 16v wheels they're called Montreal style. I just don't have the centre caps on them.

The tyres on them weren't confidence inspiring yesterday to say the least, or it could be the shot front wheel bearings or the major need for a wheel alignment. But still awesome fun through the twisty bits. Plenty of traction lost by me....

I have heaps of pics to come just haven't had the chance to resize them yet.

PS. Shame on you for not coming

Oh and was saw quite a few other cars of interest on the cruise namely about 8 Ford Focus XR5's, a few Mk5 Gti's going the opposite direction throughout the day and a Black Mk5 Gti 3door that lined up in front of Golfworx(Tim Mk1 Gti) and myself at a set of lights, and had a bit of a squirt up a hill.

me thinks someone got bored behind that 4wd on the way down the mountain. either that or your brake bias is all wrong

Hey Guys, sorry I couldn't make it. It certainly looked like a good day out, weather was really nice for a trip like this. Good to see the whole spectrum of GTI's on show! I'm not sure whether I would have fitted in with such esteemed company, but I look forward to another cruise like this. I'm gearing up for the charity cruise in Movember, but if there are any other cruises planned, I may be in!
