FINE hah,
jessv3, you dont drive a black gti with red striped 17's do you?
i see a black gti, lowered, exhaust, tint at genesis all the time and it looks schmik.
Nope not me. Mine is black, but a stocker (except a bluefin, & Dension). I only put the bluefin in a few weeks ago and still haven't decided if it has gave me the performance gains that I was hoping for... What colour is the TDI?
black gti's are pretty much perfect as they are. few weeks ago i was selling the tdi and buying a gti, i couldnt fathom borrowing 10k extra for what is essentially nice seats, a nice steering wheel, and a bodykit upgrade on what i have. when i own mine already, have it flashed, soon to be lowered and colour coded it does everything i need. when uni's sorted and i make some good bucks itll be off to R town
guys lets plan for next thursday, so schooner can come and a few others. also im working till 11pm this thursday but will def be keen the following one!

if your not happy with the bluefin id suggest getting a revo done. if it can amaze me still on a tdi, id love to drive a gti with one. they have a proven 188 at the fly and i can get them for $800 bucks . my tdi is silver
looks like i cant make it thursdays, i have a lecture til 9. Next week i can reaarange **** and come next thursday night !

I was the opposite, when I was looking. GTI's were out of my price range so i looked at a few 2.0tdi's, the GTI I bought was 22.5k and TDI's were 18k.. I figured for an extra 4k I got my moneys worth, but i know the gap has grown a bit more now, as there is heaps of TDI's on the market so the prices are more reasonable.
You will have to take me for a burn, i kind of wish i went with a more aggressive tune..
I got the mk5 tdi for 12k bargain. Had 170k on it when I got it a year go and I've put 40 more on it only spent 600 in maintanence as I service it myself. If I paid 18 for it then I'd definitely justify the extra 4 for a gti. Should be a good night. !
ill be there, tdi gets lowered tomorow
and as logik said, is anyone keen for the putty road cruise? getting egged at the foreshore is cool and all, but how about belting our golfs through twisty stuff, now thats fun
