ACT ACT/NSW/QLD Sedf Road Trip/Camping Trip 2012

hey guys,

So I know sedf is far, far away. but lately there has been talk among the Canberra crew about a camping trip along the journey to the show. What we're thinking is heading to Melbourne via the Snowy Mountains and setting up camp for the night somewhere suitable. Then when we're feeling good enough, continue onto Melbourne and to the Show!

As of yet the camping spot hasn't been decided, we're still figuring that out, but it will most likely be a free camping spot along the way.

At this stage we'd just like to know if anyone is interested so we can get a rough idea on numbers and decide the most suitable camping spot and other details.

So who's interested?

Haha this is awesome, planning for SEDF 2012!

I'd be keen on joining you guys, though pending on time off work. I've always had to make the journey at night down to Melbourne and only stay one day, so would be good to stay for a longer period of time.

Yeah it'll be awesome if we can get a few cars together for the long drive and camp over! Really looking forward to it actually!

I am as you know Josh, defs in!

We have a couple of options on where to stay, I think Thredbo diggins in good, but if we have more then a dozen then prolly Tom Groggin Station would be better.
Note however, both these fall within the National park which would mean you would need to pay the "summer rate" per car per night which I believe is around $17. Which isn't too bad, but, still should be remembered.

I guess the Yota will be the support vehicle on this one
Hopefully, I have another car by this stage though

But yeah, the more the merrier...
Be nice to try and get as many Canberra, Sydney, QLD and regional guys along as possible...

Josh, I would change the title to somehow reflect that we're after not only ACT guys but, also SYD, QLD guys as well.

Doesn't matter if it's not show worthy. Hell, I rocked up in the ****box in its roughest condition in 2010! It's all about the experience Ben I've had the best times down in Melbourne for the dub shows!
