Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    WA Anyone got a good paddock??

    Hi guys.
    Am planning a bit of a bucks day activity involving some old cars and, well, a paddock! You get the idea...

    I just need a paddock or someone who has some property or space where about 10-15 sensible young men can thrash some cars.

    I will be responsible for all cleanups if necessary, and obviously will have the cars removed if they cant be removed under thier own power... for whatever reason that may happen.. *cough*.

    It will be one day only sometime between now and late next year and i'm happy to negotiate a fee if need be...

          Of course!!! 5 or 6 cheap bombs from pickles auctions/quokka. Hopefully some cars i hate dealing with at work (old 126/123/124 mercedes, old volvos, saab 900's) haha. I will arrange drop off and pickup/clean up of the cars at your convenience.

            Just had a look on the map! ***** thats a long way. Would probably think about camping if travelling that far...

              Ok, i will have a chat to the guy who owns the land, as he is a car nut he will probably want to witness the carnage..

              Oh, and as i am going to Cairns next year (Jan-Dec) i would hope you could do it by the end of this year so i could also witness the death of many Volvos....

                    Bump for this! Still looking.
                    For anyone who is thinking "oh a bunch of pissed up young blokes smashing cars on my property, no way" its not going to be like that.
                    There wont be alcohol involved, and its going to be more of a top gear style 'challenge' where we have to get ourselves a bomb each and compete.
                    Safety gear will be worn and fire extinguishers and first aid etc will be taken just in case...
