Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • SA Eurofest'11 Show n Shine

The idea of Eurofest was to spawn a new event to breath life into the European car scene in South Australia, the last event of this type dated back in the early 2000′s, so what better way then to bring it back in 2011!

We are inviting the likes of all car makes from Europe, wether its Audi, Porsche, Mercedes and many more.

The event is located at Birdwood Motor Museum South Australia and is held on Sunday, 20th November 2011.

The event will run with categories in an Era style format, with both Judges and Peoples Choice. Prizes will be awarded throughout the day..

Vehicle entry is $20 and is highly recommended to be done before the day, this would be greatly appreciated by staff for ease. However, entry on the day is acceptable.

    Best of Categories,

    - Best of Eurofest (Judges/Peoples Choice)

    - Best Interior (Judges/Peoples Choice)

    - Best Exterior (Judges/Peoples Choice)

    - Best Original (Judges/Peoples Choice)

    - Best Modified (Judges/Peoples Choice)

    Era Categories,

    - 2000 to present

    - 1990 – 1999

    - 1980 – 1989

    - 1970 – 1979

For those coming we have arranged a cruise upto the event.

This is a club drive for those who wish to attend the Eurofest, it will be occurring before the show and we aim on entering the location as one big group after a enjoyable drive through the Adelaide Hills. We are inviting the likes of all car makes from Europe, whether its Audi, Porsche, Mercedes, etc, to join us.

The meeting location is at the Tea Tree Plaza Shopping Center, within the car park next to McDonald's.

Assembly wi...ll begin at around 9:30am on the Sunday morning, and we expect to leave the area by about 10:20am in order to arrive at the museum by 11am.
The event is located at Birdwood Motor Museum South Australia and is held on Sunday, 20th November 2011.

Once again, we encourage all to join us for this drive, should be a enjoyable, slow paced drive with the opportunity for drive by photography.
