So how did the Golf fare, Maris? Or did you take the Polo out?

I took the Golf. The trip computer showed 5.2 L/100 yet when we worked out from the fuel we put in, it worked out to 6.48 L/100.

                            Something went horribly wrong.

                            Maris

PS; Just checked the fill at the start point and it appears the pump was faulty. It was clicking off as soon as tried to fill the tank and I did eventually get $5 into the tank.

That fill was only 78 Kms and took only 3.35 litres, which worked out to 0.09 L/100. I wish!!

So, the tank was not full when I started.
