I'll be turning up for sure! Unfortunately I havent been able to do any work on the car but I'm going to set aside some time this week to scrub the hell out of it for the show
I'll be there at the meet at leederville. I'm looking forward to drive up there maybe the tunnel too? All the way too 7,200RPM.........
As long as that's past me its all good I'll be bringing my go pro so if people want to do drive bys like in the last 'cruise' that would be sweet. Im going to try and make a video of the day but i aint promising anything good
So this is my proposal for the route for the day. Let me know what you think.
So we start off with everyone arriving at the leedevile car park between 8:00 and 8:01
We sit around and chat, have a few coffees and what not until 9 when we set off.
Now with the midpoint of Mundaring Weir (hotel parking i guess) theres a few routes. The one i'm suggesting has what i think is the least amount of traffic lights with some nice scenery and roads along the way.
So basically we go from Leederville car park to go over loftus on to graham farmer freeway. Then from graham farmer we go left onto great eastern highway, Follow that to Kalamunda road. Which goes all the way up to one of the roads there (Elizabeth, stirk and mead street) which then turns onto Mundairing which goes for a good fang until we end up in the Mundaring weir hotel parking lot (Australian travel maps, street directory, driving directions & aerial photographs - Whereis.com)
That should take about 1hr for everyone to meet there.
look like a tool wearing it but you would be surprised what i would do for some HD goodness
should also note that i had the waterproof housing on today whilst testing the head mount. changed it up to the other one and everything is much more audible!
lol. i had this marked in my calendar months ago and popped by expecting this thread.
life has been busy. haven't driven my vw in a couple of weeks and it's messy.
not sure if i have time to clean it up or whatnot, but i'll come along since it was a pretty good day out last year.
i've got a busy sat as well, so i'm not sure if i'll make it at 8am..anyway, will check back later in the week for the final plans.
p.s. we're still expecting late showers on sunday according to the weather report.
