If you go through the main street of Northam, there will be signs that point to the park where german car day is on. So as it draws closer what are the plans? Are we going to do like we did last year? Meet at DNA tower, Stand around talking about pedros mk1 for an hour then cruise down to northam? I think we should have a meet half way along this time, We lost about half of the group just going through the city.sigpic

Yeah that's what i was thinking. After the great eastern and roe highway intersection there's not much traffic lights just a good cruise up to northam.Originally posted by gareth_oau View Postwhat about meeting somewhere in midland area?
I think either Mundaring weir (Gives us the nice lead through all the windy roads and is along the way)
Bilboman pools which is about 10min or so up great eastern and has a nice parking lot.
or another place?
Those two were the only sort of nice looking parking places that are easy to find.sigpic

sorry Ive never donne this before, but once in Northam, is there a designated parking area set aside for us, or do we all just scramble for the best spots?
are our cars actually on display, or are we there to view formal displays?
whats the overall routine for the day's events?2007 Audi RS4 with: APR ECU Upgrade; JHM Quick Shifter; Milltek Catback and Downpipes; KW V3 Coilovers; Argon Creative Carbon Fibre Splitters

Hi guys, thanks for bumping this along Luke. I was thinking we should have a mid way stop as well.
If we meet in Leederville for coffees first about 8, then leave by 9ish, we can head up the hill - I had thought of Mundaring Weir Rd too, and then regroup in Mundaring to let people catch up, then convoy to Northam from there.
Gareth, the display is in a park area next to the river (sort of), previously we have parked up in the area between the tourist centre and Peel Terrace.
Google Maps
It's basically a big show & shine with a few other trade particpants - Andy's Bratwurst!!!!
I saw my original post had been copied onto a couple of the other forums so the 1addicts guys etc are welcome to drive up with us if you don't want to go with the Bimmerclubinc boys.
So, who's coming?? I might print up a map depend how many are likely to come. Don't forget radios (2ways) if you have 'em.
