Hmmm, well only 4 in Tassie have expressed interest?
Been like this before, I am thinking....
C'mon guys, its for charity. And for fun for us. A social thing where egos stay at home!

I would be willing to donate more than the initially stated $10 and I'm sure there are others on this forum willing and able to do the same. What I'm saying is ... have a minimum donation figure of say $10 (there are a lot of students on here), but if you feel you can donate more ... then do. I'm not saying make a competition out of this ... and as far as I'm concerned, no one but the taxman needs to know what I donate (this is not an ego thing ... it's for a good cause).

Prostate cancer kills at least as many men each year as breast cancer kills women ... but it has a very low profile and IMHO it shouldn't.

Therefore, when we get this organised, I feel we should get the media involved to at least show that 'Men with cars that have nice, shiny rims' are responsible, contributing members of society and get them to publish something about the coordinated meet and the funds raised.

          (Steps off soapbox).

Ok guys the date will be the 2nd of Dec.
Now to do a sate by state plan.

            Tasmania (PoloGTi)
            Victoria (99gti)?
            QLD (Shaneth)?
            Any one for:
            South Australia?
            NSW?
            WA?
            ACT?
and maybe Darwin if we have any members from the top end.

So the charity will be Prostate cancer.
I will do some reshearch into the organisation.

I am not sure if we should have a thread for each state so it does not get confusing any thoughts onm that.

I will also look into maybe some sort of meadia involvement.
If any one eles would like to talk to a few ppl about thjis or have any ideas that would be most appreciated.
            Cheers Rob.

Will definitely be less clutter if each state has their own thread, and then as the day gets nearer, we can converge it if there's going to be so interstate meetings.
              Past: Mk3 Golf 2L 8V, Audi 8L A3T.
              Present: Mk3 Golf variant.

I reckon we should not toss "ideas" any more and moderators/ admin should take ova and organise their state if they can. A meeting this sizes needs hardcore organisation. Good work for steping in mk3VR6.

                          I am in already.

Righto cool fellas, I will suggest some Ideas and start a NSW thread with a POLL on destinations. Can I have a confirmed date when this is going to happen please? As is it going to be a Australia wide date or each to there own state pick a date and go from that
