  • Speed on Tweed 2007 (8+9 of September)

    hey,
Well I was reading up on this Speed on Tweed festival and I have a question in two parts to ask.

    1) Anybody thinking of going?

    2) If enough people are interested lets get a group together and rock up as a group?

    more info here.

Been meaning to go to this for years ... but never had the dates beforehand. So I'm thinking this time ... I'm gonna try to make it ... get down and see John & Eddy.

I went last yr on the friday, watched the parade, looked through the cars parked at the pits.. too bad it rained on that day.

          definitely going again!

I used to coordinate crowd control for this event, the first 3 years it was run, and had an absolute ball every time. The cars are brilliant, the site itself is accessible and well serviced, and the crowd friendly and easy going. I am still waiting to see a Mk1 GTI entered as a competitor!!! Was really cool to see an early 1990's F1 car tearing up the streets of Murwillumbah, SO LOUD!!!

Get there guys - well worth the drive!

              Cheers!

                Hey i am interested

I am in wisemans so the drive would be about 9 hrs ?

would we meet in sydney and head off together ?

and would we have any trouble finding diggs for the nights ?

sorry for all the questions but just moved from Perth to Sydney...
