Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Saturday
Well I woke up at about 4:30am dreaming that my neighbour was chasing me in a VN wagon doing burnouts out the front and me jumping houses on foot WTF. I dozed until 5:30am. Id packed the night before so was ready to roll. Mitchy B (Australia's biggest Dubber without a dub) picked me up in the Maxima, this thing is a de0tuned 370z and eats small chilkdren through the induction kit.
Arrived at Timmy's to find him sleep walking, packed the VR6 and on the road by 7am. We cruised along and our first stop was Ararat for some macca's and a pit stop. JJJ's hottest 100 2010 was the CD of choice for the trip:
Border town was refuel and good stop to stretch the legs (Mitch needed to talk to Kim of course aswell ((Future GF in the making)) ) At BP we saw that a falcon wagon can tow anything:
The trip into adelaide was epic as I had very been any further west than Ballarat/Ararat so checking out our flat country was good... Mitch slept most of the second half while Tim and I talked on future builds and times ahead. Our accomidation was cheap and clean (Thanks Robin and Lorenz for the hook up)
Now the reason for this trip was not just a car show but Tim was purchasing his dream car a Mk1 Scirocco. So we heeaded out to see Darren and pick the old girl up. After some talking and carby tweeking we were off....
Robin was kind enough to feed us on Saturday night so we headed to his pad for an awsome feed of chicken, spuds, salad, snags and other goodies. The Slammed Distribution boys rocked up too. A fun evening of talk and laughs. Starting the rocco was a mission and back to the motel.
Mitch and I then went on a mission to see some of Adelaide's finest.Last edited by Water Boy; 29-03-2011, 12:18 PM.

Show day!
Up not too early to start the rocco and brrrapppp to Macca's to meet Lorenz, Robin and Alex. And check out their rides... And we bought CC's too!
The show was fun, different cars I hadnt seen before but mots of all good people to chat with... I even did some judging too!
Highlights of the show:
- Having a stand-off in the carpark of a Police station with some half-whit.
- Checking out Alex's Mk4
- Lorenz's Mk3
-Seeing Austin in the Mk2
- Chilling with olmate Felix
- Kicking the steez in the corner of the show.
- Just talking crap.
Im sorry I didnt get to talk to all the Adelaide dubbers but props to all who came. Was a fun show and thanks to all the organisers and players.
After the show we dropped the rocco back at the motel and headed into the city to Lorenz's pad to watch some F1 and drink some Cooper's. Some cheap pizza and good times. But remember kiddies if you have a Ferrari and a ugly mrs please give it the beans when needed...
Many things happend late that night with a set of BBS RS wheels...Last edited by Water Boy; 29-03-2011, 12:30 PM.

MONDAY
Well Adealaide doesnt have peak!!!!
Crusiy morning packing the cars and recovering from the night beforehand.
Fire up the rocco and off to the servo for some of Adelaide's finest 98 sniff.
Smoke clouds yeah we did that. Covering mant cars on the climb out of Adelaide. Driving the Mk1 home was interesting, stupid, a mission, fun and id do it again. Oil stops, hand brake stops, fires, engine cleans and extreme corning is all part of the game. Mitch was in the VR6 support car (and BBS transporter) follwong or leading the rocco all way (im pretty sure he kept himself entertained with sex msg's from the ladies)
This photo was taken juts before Tim tried to burnt his rocco to the ground. Dont worry ill put the fire out...
And one of the mant oil stops...
Well the 12 hour trip home was something ill never forget. Tim and Mitch as I said over the CB radio if we do make it as far to have grand kids this is a story to tell them.
Huge thanks to Lorenz, Robin, Alex, Gav, Felix and all the other S.A people. Thanks to random old mate who filled up the water bottle after the fire.
Lets do it all again soon...Last edited by Water Boy; 29-03-2011, 12:43 PM.
