I have Friday's off Timmeh so I'll be able to come up early so we can drop in at the brewery

Hopefully we get to see what Bright Brewery has to offer
It would be great if everyone that come along had a UHF radio in the car. You will really be at a disadvantage without one as they are quite useful to communicate between cars when we are out of mobile phone range. Doesnt need to be anything fancy. Just a cheapy from jaycar or d ick smith etc
As discussed at the pub meet last week a few of us are interested in leaving early enough to visit the bright brewery for a tasting session and perhaps a light meal so looking at a time conducive to that.
Apparently the brewery is open from 12pm till "evening". I will call them later today to confirm what they mean by "evening"
The trip there takes around 3.5 hours so I guess I was hoping to leave by 1pm-ish?
So far that sits pretty with everyone except paul who has said he cant make it until late but will travel up on his own and ben who said he can make it to cooper st by 3pm perhaps? How are you going James? Will it suit you better if we wait until later in the arvo?
If the brewery is open until late we can push the departure time back a bit which might be easier for everyone. Ill let you all know as soon as I do.
At the end of the day the Brewery visit is just an idea and we can ditch it in favour of a later departure time if its going to be too much of a hassle.
3pm would be best for me so i can finish lunch service at work and head off after that, but I am happy to head up solo or with some others who cant make a 1pm departure and just meet you there. Otherwise does the brewery do dinner service??
Just got off the phone with Bright Brewery and they said their "Evening" is normally around 7PM that they close.
However this weekend apparently there is a Rockabilly festival happening in bright so they are expecting it to be busy and open later. The guy said there should be cars, pin up girls, music etc.. All sorts of rockabilly stuff.
Anyways I guess we can push the departure back to 3pm sharp from cooper st BP epping if that works for people? Google Maps
Long range forecast for the weekend is looking nice and sunny with low to mid 20s in central vic. It will be a bit chilly when we crest Mt Hotham on saturday though so make sure you bring some warm clothes!
