VIC Charity BBQ for QLD Floods

A little late notice i know, but im organising a charity BBQ meet this Sunday with some of the Opel boys to raise some funds for the QLD flood appeal. They still have a long way to go to clean up so every dollar counts.

Meet time - 12pm
Meet Location - Yarra Bend Park

Set your GPS for Yarra Bend Road. Its just before the road splits in two, past the NMIT and just next to the driving range



What to bring:
Yourself
Your car
Some coin to donate

Will there be food?
Yes, I will bring along some snags/bread/sauce/etc for the BBQ

Will it cost me?
Only as much as you wish to donate.

Will we cruise?
We can all decide when we get there if anyone would like to cruise, or wether we just hang around and talk general rubbish and take photos etc

Just heard it is going to a quite a hot day 40 degrees as I was told on the day? Hope there is some shade to share. Remeber peeps to bring suncsreen lotion with ya cause not only will the snags be BBQ'd we'll be too

New location will be at Yarra Bend Park - as there is shade there and being 40 degrees i think we will need it !!

Thanks to all that attended not a bad turnout for 40 degrees (even though it didnt really feel like that in the shade until around 2:30!)

Grand total for the day = $130.80.... so work will match that and bring it to $261.60.. not a bad little donation considering

If it wasnt so damn hot i would have suggested a little squirt through yarra bvd but people were getting a bit hot'n'bothered and some had places to go.. its only the start of the year so theres plenty more chances to cruise
