us from down hurstville, st george area, meet up at olimpic park than head out to M2...i think thats M2 or M4, someone correct me!
That's the M4.
Maccas on the M4 at Eastern Creek sounds good. Big stop off area so we can crash there for an hour until we get everyone. This is becoming very similar to that VWVortex cruise haha.
so what? is there some sort of copyright? isnt there caltex next door? lets meet up there. also guys, start thinking of where abouts in the blue mountains we will be heading.
use www.whereis.com.au and plot the course.
also stgeorge boys, dont be so concerned where we will meet up before hand,we can do that after we decide the final destination, otherwise this thread will be more about us meeting up than the bluemountains cruise.

Why?
Meet at King Georges Rd, Shell Service Station next to Black Stump or whatever its called, its much easier and from there its only 2 traffic lights from the M4 jump onto that and then head down to Eastern Creek Maccas.
Might meet you at the top of the Northern Road at Penrith, easier for us Southern blokes.

I may be in on this one....depends if I am allowed out or not
If i can convince my wife it will be a nice lunch in the mountains as opposed to a cruise with boy racers it might be ok....will have to be in the MkV though....shes not a fan of the MkII
I basically live near M4, Northern Road intersection so easy to join....will see, would be good to meet you guys!

By the way, on the issue of lunch, will it be BYO BBQ like our previous outings or are we gonna crash a fish and chips shop on the way? Gotta get those noodles prepared since the reception for them at the La Perouse GTG was good
I should be there .... unless my CA study is hitting the fan!
I have come up with a potential route - refer attached. This takes us up the great western to Mount Victoria, then joining onto bells line of road to takes us back to Richmond.
I am not sure what a good length for a cruise is - this is 155km and that is starting at Eastern Creek and finishing at Richmond. To go back to Eastern Creek will probably be another 20-30km.
I am not too sure about start/stops or the suitability of the route as I have never done a full cruise before, just throwing this one up for debate and scrutiny .
