Seb has also thrown in some cash for the Watercooled class. For the first car to complete a 7 second pass $500!! For the first car to complete a 6 second pass $1000!! Things have just stepped up a cog....

We are brining 2 nitrous bottles with us but if there is an option to refill let us know?? its a long trip all sorts can happen, and if theres some prize money up for grabs may step it up and go for it! considering both I and the owner Chris said we will take it easy with the brand new engine well not now hahaha. We have enough spares coming along with us we are covered for breakages i spend most of the day Saturday building a spare gearbox

I've had the helmet since '03 when my old one got smashed.. Along with my collar bone and vehicle.. A racing friend was nice enough to donate a new one to me..

Is someone going to break the rules and make a racer out of a golf rocker cover?

                              Top weekend!

Big thanks to the Cobra Division! What a blast.. We could have gone home Saturday morning and been satisfied we'd had fun.

                              Tommy, you're a riot!

Here's our quickest times.. Pics etc to come. I took a stack.

                              Preen59

                              8.831@84.59 mph, 2.21 60ft, '76 Mk1, 1.8l K-Jet, standard bar stud kit, t3/4 Turbo. Full street trim w/ sun visor and Garfield. Toyo RA1 205/55 R14

                              Tim Bailey

                              8.153@86.04mph, 1.85 60ft, '76 Mk1, 1.8l K-Jet, standard bar stud kit, t3/4 Turbo. Full street trim w/ sun visor and Garfield. Toyo RA1 205/55 R14

I only made 3 passes.. And launched soft.

The car made a total of 17 passes over the weekend, with Tim using the 2-Step and giving the thing a real hard time. Car was consistent and didn't break a thing.
