Could the expected route please be posted cause I got work staring at 9:30pm tonight and would still like to attend as much of it as possible. Be great if I knew the route early so I can decide where to turn off to go to work in Richmond.
hey lukey, shame you got lost man, but it really wasn't a difficult route. As a driver you've got to make sure you know where you're going.
I'm not trying to sound rude, but taht's just common sense to me
There were only 3 roads to get the the freeway. It was the simplest route possible.
It was a great turnout from all the guys, glad to see a couple stanceworks guys turn up as well. Pity there were
a few more SW guys there though, as it's always nice to see some 'other' nice cars..
i wouldnt say i got lost, the group got split up by traffic lights and i was in the last 6 or 7 cars. and i only heard of highbury road or something along those lines as the directions.
and not being from melbourne it is harder for me.
i especially feel sorry for dylan8 coming from bairnsdale, to get stuck in the back cars.
im not gonna let it deter me or anything, im just a bit annoyed and feel as though i wasted my arvo when i coulda been back drinking and then going to the pub to get para.
no hard feelings i hope.
maybe in future some short directions on a piece of paper could be made up for everyone?
hey lukey, sorry bout the mixup mate, and i feel ya about getting lost and not living in Melbourne,
i did although stop 3-4 times along the side of the road for everyone to catch up, the only problem with that though is when your on a main road with 20 cars lined up behind you, you gotta get movin at some stage, and personally, the reason why i had to hurry up was because i was running out of time to do the shoot, you only get about a good 30min of rolling shots time on the freeway, heck, my dad even got lost in his ute before we hit the freeway haha!
look i am planning to do another rolling shots cruise before the summer ends, but this time, ill document everything, names number's directions because like you said, from people out of town, its not easy making your way through somewhere you dont know!
sorry you had to bail mate, but i will do another one very very soon
s'all good, was good to catch up with the stanceworks/honda boys. like i said, the traffic lights were killer, the group i was in got stuck at every single one. i know you guys seem to use that meet spot quite a bit but maybe a suggestion of something a bit closer to the freeway entrance would be advisable? there was a few cars that dropped out before me and ox stopped when we seen sem pulled over. i went and inspected a car after we all went our own ways, which i went and seen again today but was dissapointed.
post up on stanceworks again when you have it and ill try and make it again.
i know dylan was taking a few photos of my car so ill wait and see if he posts some of them up, haha.
haha thanks for the thoughts Lukey. and sorry, I only saw your PM this morning! We will work something out next time!
Had a great time even though we did get separated. I was lucky enough to have The Wood navigating, otherwise I would have had no idea.
and yep James was the one hanging out my car taking photos of your car Lukey, Ill try and get them up asap.
Thanks to Dom for organizing and being behind the lens.
Would be keen for another one if we can get in some time to hang out before and after again.
Good to meet and few new people and see some sweet cars
Thanks to James, Stu, Jarred, Josh, Mitch, Tim and Jess for the good times and for looking after me as per usual
