WA Some cruise/activity

Hey,

It was brought up in the DOVW thread that the WA side hasn't had a decent cruise in a while. I was just putting this up to see if anyone was keen to have a cruise or an activity such as go karting down at barbagello. Open to suggestions. I was thinking round Christmas or early next year hopefully. Any thought suggestions or anything else welcome.

Karting sounds good, my VR6 is off the road thanks to some idiot in an Echo. Still waiting to get it assessed so insurance can sort it out.

So it looks like we need a minimum of 10 people or so for a booking. I was thinking we do the barbagello circuit and do possibly the maxi one. Thats a 3 x 5 lap race and 10min practice on the super karts for $150. Even maybe a BBQ to go with it.

I'm keen as mustard.
As long as its before dec 22nd or after Jan 9th as i'll be in melb/tassie.
If numbers are low I have a mate who is keen and can bring a few people.

Mad keen on karting. Dont mind if its the barbagello or the dedicated track next door. Did the ultra fast carts maxi one a year ago, VERY good fun!

Prospective date for the karting ??

Not sure was just putting out for a feeler at the moment. Will have to see what everyones best dates are. Might have to be after the 9th as people will be with Christmas and stuff. Was everyone ok with barbagello or do we go Belmont. I'm unsure of the super fast karts at barbagello some say their good some say their crap.

Ok, well since the last thread about a track day got deleted in the recent crash, and we've probably lost some posts from here too, thought I might bring this back to life.

Matt was looking at organising an afternoon up at RAC. They may have changed the way they run the bookings as there were potentially only 8 spots available.

Who else was interested? Let's see if we can get some numbers going for a proper thread.

Also, what happened to any other ideas from here - eg karts?
