Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Mate, I would love to do that, but I don't think we will get time on the Saturday. We are doing some redesign on our piping to try to lower the cost of the system at the moment, so we are out of stock.

    Would love to do some back to back testing though, so might take you up on your offer soon!

      not an issue as we could use the forge piping and I could change i/c as others go thru, I think there might be enough flex on the fittings dont you.

        You might get some more interest in the APR intercooler if you can prove that there is a difference and benefit over the Forge unit

        Even better to hear they are looking into a way to keep the cost down too

          Agreed, It's already been proven back to back including dyno runs in QLD by owners of both products - and fact is Forge is worse than stock.

          Nevertheless When we get our newer version out we will be happy for someone to back to back test them. Our new version won't be ready for a little bit.

          Unfortunately our plumbing & mounting is not compatible with the Forge units, so you have to swap the lot.
