Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Just tape some black cardboard to it.

Or I'm sure there will be plenty of dodgy ricer body kits down there. Maybe you could pick one up on a speed bumb out the front.

                        Just come along regardless.

I'll be at the show but unfortunately without my GTI. I've got a company stand there. Looking forward to seeing some of the VW owners with their rides.

MEET UP BEFORE SHOW- Gold Coast Car show Sunday14th

Hi guys, we called the organisers of the show this morning, we have to be there between 5.30am & 9am. They have told us it will be a really big show.bigger & better than the one at Oxenford for anyone that went to that.
Thought it would be nice to cruise down together.(madglf3 idea)
How about a meet up at the Coomera BP ( Maca's there for breakfast) between 7am & 7.30, leave 7.30am get there 8am, plenty of time to set up etc before public arrive, that way again it guarrantees we all get a site together.
Anyone that can't make the BP & cruise down let us know,(pm us), we will do our best to save extra spots so that we can definitely all be together. OK

Meeting up before hand is a great idea. 7am sounds good, can't wait to see some sick v-dubs.

Yeah, that sounds like a plan. If I leave Brisbane at 6.30 I should be there before 7.30. I'll be needing a coffee at that hour...
