just got back from doing the run today. Roads are in excellent condition except for a very small section of roadworks near the cardinia dam. No need to change the route because of it.

From warburton onwards as expected there is a very big police presence. So ill say it again that we are going to be well behaved.

I was breathalised once just before the reefton turn off. Then between that turnoff and lake mountain there was a further 2 police motorbikes and 1 blue unmarked ford territory who felt the need to pull out and follow me all the way back to coldstream! Im sure he was very upset at my sedate driving.
