I'd like to meet up at the BBQ as I'm already locked into other stuff on Sunday morning (no, it's not church). What time, roughly, does the cruise arrive at Maroondah Dam. Is there anything I can do to help get the BBQ under way.
its a bit difficult to estimate our ETA. Id think maybe about 12:30 - 1pm?
Give me a call/sms if you like to see where we are at perhaps. 0411380529
We generally stop at Warburton and Marysville to regroup and make sure everyone is still with us. As you know very well.. Bigger cruises can end up in chaos with people getting lost etc..
There is a pretty nice BBQ area at the foot of the Dam wall that we normally use. So not much required other than people and food to BBQ.
That's fine Tim. I fully realise it's hard to keep to any sort of timetable with a cruise. If I can make it I'll just head up to the dam and sit back, relax and take in some fresh air.
Ive had messages and phone calls from a few people asking if friends in non VAG cars can tag along so I thought id post this up here to save anyone else any confusion.
Over the years we have had tag alongs of all sorts. Last year was fun with a few renault boys joining us even. So basically everyone is welcome. Im more concerned with the attitude people bring along moreso than the car they drive.
