Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • VIC Drive through the Dandenongs

With better weather on the way, Revolks (10th October) and DOVW (21st November) only around the corner, its the perfect time for a drive/meet up/photo-shoot in the Dandenongs.

When: Sunday 31st October Meet at 8:30 for a chat, we will be leaving at 9:00 am sharp. Please make sure you have enough fuel before we leave. Sundays are busy in the Dandenongs, and this is to avoid as much traffic and cyclists as possible.

    AN UPDATE! (30/10/10- 6:20 PM)

I hope the weather forecast does not put people off. Updated Forcast from BOM.

Cloudy. Rain, heavy at times, easing to areas of rain during the afternoon, easing to isolated showers by early evening. The chance of thunderstorms until afternoon. Winds south to southeasterly averaging 10 to 20 km/h tending mainly northwest to southwesterly up to 45 km/h during the morning.

MEET- BUNNINGS, Scoresby, 8:30am. We will then determine conditions and options for the day!

If the thunderstorms set in tomorrow, we might just be flexible and just cruise to Gembrook. If conditions are okay we will continue to drive option 1 or option 2.

If the rain is heavy all day, we could alway go to Knox City or similar (park the cars under cover), and have "brunch" at a cafe.

                hey gang,

just went for a fang up Dandy way today (stupid, i know, what with it being a sunny saturday, bike riders and traffic all over the place- not ideal for getting up it), but it was still a shedload of fun!

all you lazy mexicans who are too lazy to reply to this thread, you'd better sort your **** out and come along on this cruise- it might be the last for the year!

what else are you gonna be doing?

"ooh, look at me, im hungover because i got wasted last night and cracked on to some smelly skanks, and now i've gotta sit at home with a headache and play playstation all day instead of being a kick ass person and going for a drive with a bunch of other awesome kick ass people...."

surely you dont want that to be YOU.

                so sign up!

i love the roads out around cockatoo/ gembrook.

every few weeks i treat myself, pack a party bag (smokes, energy drinks, water, collection of cd's, etc) and take a drive out that way.
