QLD Mountain bikers in SEQ

Hi,

Are there any keen mountain bikers in south east queensland that would be keen for a non car related get together? Perhaps we could line a weekend ride at a convenient location.

Me and a couple of mates (who actually all own golfs too) ride out at Gap creek once a month or so, and its been a while since we went out.
I'll flcik you a PM if we decide to go anytime soon.

cool. I'll usually ride daisy hill every fortnight as it's my local. Will hit gap creek in the next few weeks too, been a few months since.

Mt Cootha's not usually the best place to reacqaunt yourself with mountain biking. Dust off the pedally and stretch the legs.

We mustn't have many riders on here, perhaps we should pick a time, day, place and see if anyone wants to join. If we lock it in, I'll be there regardless of others. Perhaps someone else is best to propose the location based on fitnes and skills.

Maybe you guys should say what sort of riding you do... XC, DH or just general all mountain - trail riding.

good point. all mountain/trail riding is what's mostly around Brisbane. My bike isn't a DH rig, but will have a blast at just about anything providing I don't kill myself. Daisy Hill is my local.

keen to do this, my local is jinker and bunya forest tracks but always go to gap creek, more than happy to go to daisy hill, will bring 2 of my mates aswell if thats cool!

We have got some great trails up here Noosa way (Wooroi SF) and also Parklands (near Nambour). If you want a change of scenery sometime, we are mtbing every weekend so PM me to join in. Mainly XC stuff, all single track.....

I'll take you up on that offer shortly. The next month is a mad house, but I won't forget

So when do we want to hit the trails and where? I could do this saturday morning at Daisy hill, or the following saturday morning at any brisbane location.
