You guys might want to give Archerfield karts a call before you rock up there. I think they might be in some financial trouble as they were closed two weeks ago. The voice message said they were closed and thanks for the support during their time of difficulty.

Archerfield karts uses J and S-class karts. i.e. ones used in real go-kart racing. And they can reach speeds of 80 and 100km/hr respectively.
The ones that don't stall use 4 stroke lawnmover engines that don't stall are not not real racing karts- max spd for those are 50-55km/hr.

Just got off the phone to Kingston. They're really pressed for bookings BUT he said we can get a spot on SUNDAY the 7th of November at 1.15 so long as we have a minimum of 10 people and a maximum of 15. Now, I understand if that's impossible given the number we have at the moment so please let me know of confirmed attendees.

The information:
We'll be getting the level 1 Sprint Pack which includes a practice sessions, 2 races and a grand final. The cost is $95 per rider (registration fees included).
The sessions starts at 1.15 but they recommend that we arrive at 12.30 to get registered and in case the session times are changed slightly.

I'll be confirming the reserved number either tomorrow afternoon (Friday) or Monday afternoon, and leaving a 25% deposit so if the number exceeds 15 or goes under 10, I'll cancel it and we can push it back either one week or two.

PLEASE CONFIRM WHETHER YOU'RE COMING OR NOT!!!!!!!!!

I didn't get enough definite responses so I had no choice but to cancel the booking. We'll plan this again for a month or so and lock in a set date.

Oh man how stupid is this ! is it really that hard to organise why do you need a booking , We are still going on sunday the 7th 10am no booking needed just rock up pay fee and let it rip, after karting will go for a spin in our GTI's . It's difficult around this time of the year because of all the Christmas parties etc. I was happy for the 7th and if you think there's a chance of us karting, I'm happy to come along and give it a go.
