hey vww brothers,
we havent had a vww gtg/cruise in a while,so golf loon and I decided its about time we have another so we can all catch up.There is a clubvw cruise to GERROA Fishermans club,both from Sydney and canberra so maybe we can hitch up with them..it will be good politics for us,since we had the nats with them!!

what do you guys say???? (maybe they will have some good CHIP there for our CHIP THREAD??)

Sunday 24th: June FISH & CHIPS Observation Run.

Two starting points(lifted from clubvw website)
Sydney - Meet at Uncle Leo's Roadhouse, Hume Hwy the Crossroads 8:30am to leave 9:30am.
Canberra - Meet at Shell garage, Northbourne Ave at 7:30am to leave 8:00am.
Clue sheets handed out at both locations.
Morning tea at Leighton Park in Moss Vale, then regroup.
Then on to Gerroa Boat Fisherman's Club for lunch.
Club meals start at $14 mains (kids serves available), plus blackboard specials.
This event is for all Volkswagens - Air and Water-cooled!

where you going man??? its about another 40minutes out of the gong!! we dont have to meet up at the roadhouse,we can meet up elsewhere like maybe sylvania maccas.

yeh its not to far down from the gong, you turn off the highway at gerringong. Tossing up wether to go out to moss vale or just meet you guys at gerroa, because gerroa is like 30 minutes from my house

Yeah that sounds like a good run.
The Crossroads at Liverpool is easy to get to. (unless you are Ray)

Also good to goto a Club VeeDub, as the more of us watercoolers get involved with their club, the more accomodating it can become for events such as the Nats.

Sounds good, some a nice drive, not too far, some food and chatting time and probably some beer

Better than standing round a dirty workshop IMO.

There will also be lots of Club VeeDub members in Aircooled cars, so there will be a fair few of us.

I think this cruise is a good opportunity to show the organizers of the nats that we appreciate their efforts and are a serious force in the Sydney VW Scene.
