Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Julia & I drove ahead of the pack to get some pics. No wonder I used more fuel.

A distance of approx 95 Kms was covered. Robin's Golf GTi II averaged 6.34 L/100Kms, our Golf III CL auto av. 6.67.

Was a fun day Maris. Funny as hell trying to take some of the corners flat stick to avoid braking and getting bad economy. Yeah the paint on the mk2 is absolutely shot that side as it's in the sun next to the house. Not much longer

                Loving this shot.

. . . oh, and if your wondering y the jetta doenst have ma VWJ37 plates on, it's because I was done on the way there driving an unregistered defective vehicle so they ripped ma plates off, slaped with 3 fines equaling to $500sumthing dollars and gave me 3hrs t get home; the police man was nice though . . . sorta . . .

Phwoar! You're a bad ass Alex On another note, the Jetta looks great! Love the single rounds and poke. Did he defect you for the wheels?

The black biza is owned by Tony aka "sharpy", has the KW V2's and handles well from what I could tell, he should be there this sat but not sure if he'll be in the biza . . .

and no, the officer let me off the hook as I told him it's getting flared this week so the wheels will be "legal", i'm getting the lips extended a bit and poke a lil higher like the front lip so i can lower it more should be done by thurs hopefully, safety cert thurs arvo/friday morning and rego friday arvo *fingers crossed*
