Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I'm a 99% chance of coming, My car is the dirty-est it's been since I'v had it. Might give it a quickish clean just for the sake of it.

Yeah, Wooo! Go the VW support!

You guys fail! No wonder why the vw scene isn't as strong as most other automotive scene popular country's!

              Meh.
The scene in Australia is never going to be as big as Europe or America.
And QLD is always behind the southern states for events/meet ups.

I am too busy to stand around in a carpark and get ragged on by bootloosing/cruisingbrisbane forum members for not having an import/falcadore.

^ What is it turned into "Forum wars" now?
I'd just like to see a little bit more involvment. Doesn't have to be a boostloosing/cruisingbrisbane meet/hotspot... Why not make a more confined Euro meet monthly like another certain JDM forum does... There meets are the best I'v been too.

Because every JDM meet I go to (and I go to all of them) have normally around 40-50 cars rock up.

Our Euro meets are lucky to have 10.

Exactly... The way some people put it is that the Euro guys are to scared to rock out because people from boost/cruising brisbane will laugh? LOL

                        Glynn has a point!
I'd really love to see the VW/Euro scene strenthen up, I know there's the cars out there to get something started!

I'd love to come along but work means that I usually wouldn't be out there until like 9pm. I will try to make it along this week though.

LOLLL the JDM meet tonight would bury any of our meets. It was epic and I swear more Euros rocked up to this than to any Euro meet I've ever been to

I'll be there this Thursday night, but I'll be parking around in the Home Zone. Not driving my stock fourbie though there!
