I'll be attending this again, it's always a nice day. There was only one waterpumper llast year (Red GT Golf), but plenty of quality aircoolers.

Great idea. love to cruise up there together, anyone else on the Gold Coast that wants to join our cruise up there, let us know, it would be great to have a good watercooled turn out on the day.

ACTION DAY INFO UPDATE- 12th SEPT

I contacted the secretary of the Qld VW Drivers Club for extra info on Action Day:-

The entry fee covers entry for 1 car into the category that it belongs (in your case Modified Water-cooled), plus entry to the other discretionary categories such as Best Paint, Best Interior, President's Choice etc. that you select on the form.


The usual thing for people to do is submit their entry form and money on the day... cut-off for entries is really a bit open at this stage, but expect it would be around 11:00 am or so. We find doing them all on the day turns out less complicated... avoiding issues like people pre-entering and then not making it on the day etc.

Feel free to give me a shout if there's anything else you'd like to know.

I was at the first meeting last night... Didn't seem to bad, and somewhat organised.

Anyway I'll be there and helping out for the day so you all had better come! Cut off for entry is ~9.30am from what I was told..
