Hey everyone,
German car day was so much fun, i've been thinking it would be a great idea to go on an organized tour of the south west in the mid semester break a few months from now.
Here is the deal, i have access to a property in Augusta with number of bunks and mattresses also space on the property large enough to park many cars/ setup a little camping community there is also a camping ground very close by if there is a really large interest in this idea.
i was thinking that if we all perhaps left on a saturday morning/friday afternoon we could have a nice run south via some of the most amazing roads on this side if the country, wine tasting in the Margaret River/Great Southern regions and for those who are interested, fishing in the southern ocean is also a possibility.
I guess all in all probably 8-10 people could be lodged on the property, if some bring tents. Would be expected to bring bedding i.e pillow/case, quilts/bags etc and anything else they might need for a 3 day trip.
I'll be happy to show people around, but once down there you would all be free to go about what ever activities you wish, i ask only that the local community, area and property are respected which I suppose goes without saying.
I have already started to plan a route which i know well, and can sort out maps so when we are cruising everyone will know where we are heading and the various stop points where stragglers can catch up, i.e anyone in mk1s
If you have interest, questions or anything to add, please chime in.
