I was going to take the 63 Splitscreen Ute down for a run, but unfortunately it coincides with my trip to America. Shall be attending Bugorama in Vegas at that time.

Never to early to start the vw warwick thread not all of our cars are turn key . I raced in 2008 was a great year 9 cars went that year, Ive been trying to get a couple mates that raced with me in 2008 to come out this year im keen to come out this year in the GLD since my 16v won't be ready .

Just keep in mind a thread like this was started last year and only 1 water pumper turned up so be prepared to be disappointed, my theory is to enter to race if no one shows park it in the show n shine

dont waste your breath . There is only so much asking , promoting and offering cash prizes you can do . If people dont choose to go then there isnt much as an individual you can do . They will probably put us in with the trikes/buggies this year cause of the low numbers .

The guys coming out with me are not on this forum. I know it'll probably fall on deaf ears but if one person on here decided to come along then it was worth that breath (but im not getting any younger)

Be nice to have a decent amount of cars when i was there in 2008 there was 8 which was fun, everyone had a blast in the class my mates that came out with me to race have been keen ever since and this year we are all back.

we should be there
fingers crossed the vr6 will be ready (its 3 weeks to go and i need to get the engine in get it tuned have the exhaust made and get it blue slipped and registered )
if all else fails ill be there in my 2L mk3
hope to see some more people there this year!
hopefully get together and have a few drinks for those camping out

Good to see another enthusiast trying to make it out , just been onto aussieveedubbers forum there was a mention of healthly numbers already entered for watercooled class. Ive got my hotel booked car is ready and waiting
