NSW Northern Cruise

Hey guys,

Thought I'd attempt a little GTG on a bit of a different route ( a large number of you Sydney guys always manage South/West/South - West)....

My proposed plan is this route here:

Thornleigh NSW to Windsor NSW - Google Maps


I started it at Thornleigh for you guys and have run a nice route from there.

The plan:

- Leave Thornleigh 10am

- A nice easy drive up the F3 to a nice lunch at Hunter Valley Gardens in the Pokolbin wine region. BYO food or grab something to chomp on at the meet. Lunch, aiming for 12-1230.

- Wing it on to the putty road back to Windsor where I believe there could be some good photo ops?

- Make your way home.

- Saturday September 25

Reasons:
You guys are busy, dates are far away so you can keep them free.
Saturday, it is a sizeable drive and reasonable km's, people have to work on Mondays.

We agreed at the gtg last night that there hasn't been a proper gtg in ages. I'll make it to this one so long as the car works and i'm not at work or something

Sept 25.
Meet at the carpark behind maccas at Thornleigh at 10am.
F3 it up to Cessnock and the Royal Oak Hotel for lunch.
Putty road etc back home.
