QLD Golf R and GTD (+ Others) Drive Event @ Ian Boettchers Ipswich

This thread is replacing the Austral thread as we haven't had a response for the Golf R Release. Ian Boettchers are more than happy to put on a BBQ and test drive evening or Saturday for us, they have a demo Golf R and GTD (I drove them both today ).

I actually have known the Sales Manager their for around 2 years, very nice, not at all pushy and is generally in the know about new models coming. He already hosts similar events for other people.

Firstly I need to know if people prefer an evening or a Saturday, Then I will line up a couple of dates for us.

I am keen, Saturday doesn't really work for me and there are only some weekdays where I am free due to work, but I would be very willing to head out and test drive some cars with other VW enthusiasts

tell me about it! went to the showroom as i was passing by, a salesperson didn't even know a single thing about the upcoming polo GTI. seriously, you work at a VW dealership, jump on the web and read up about it!

on the topic of ian boettchers - i recently dealt with jeremy walker. he's a top top bloke and service is great. not in anyway pushy - let me test drive the golf R and nissan 370Z to compare the two. ended up ordering the golf R...but on behalf of my bro! damn brother

if i had to order another car...i'd be going straight back to jeremy at ian boettchers!
