You can also turn just before the fallen bridge to mitchell and throw a u turn at the lights and you will be able to get back on the highway

If you turn down Sandford st and follow it the whole way down and then turn right onto Flemington Road that will take you to Federal Hwy, turn right onto that which turns into Northbourne Ave



If you don't fill the need to do the u-turn as it adds 5 minutes max to your trip.
